The hubs currently has a weekend job, mine just officially ended and unfortunately this Easter we were not able to enjoy in the celebration. Our family and friends were in our hearts and on our minds, we communicated well wishes and love and we stayed in touch with those we love throughout the day. However, this day, much like years past we were not able to attend the family events; meals, egg hunts, candy eating or religious ceremonies… So, as a family we agreed… that we would make today just like any other day…
We worked, post work errands were ran, showers were had to soak and relax and the night carried on as it would as if it were any other night… We are currently enjoying the season opener of baseball – Yankees/Red Sox, lays chips in french onion dip, chili dogs & apple pie just came out of the oven. Though we were unable to enjoy the day and evening with friends and family, celebrating our blessings, we did enjoy an all-American evening.
