For starters, I am a mommy and I have a young baby girl. Second, I adore Josh Duhamel. Third, I am a sucker for romantic comedies. Pair them all together and you have one happy movie goer. This was a movie that also included memorable moments for me, it was Doodle’s first visit to the movie theater.
Where the story of girl meets boy on blind date, they do not hit it off, girl and boy have lives that cross repeatedly and girl & boy fall in love is a typical plot, the emotion by which this story was told truly hit home. The story was sweet, sad, sweet, sad, sometimes funny, sweet and in the end predictable. However, I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a good chick flick. I enjoyed the the dynamic of the characters, the reality of emotion and the house in the movie.
Overall, without giving too much away for those still heading to the theater… I loved this movie. It made me laugh, I cried, I smiled and I enjoyed myself. Two thumbs up from me.
