Maybe it all started in 2002 with “Your Body is a Wonderland”.. maybe not. Maybe it was the summer of 2002 when he came to AZ in concert and I got to sit front row, center stage. Yes, he is amazing in person and the memory of Adam Duritz of Counting Crows coaching me on how to clap in rhythm has ensured that this concert still ranks #1 in my books. Maybe it’s all the time I’ve spent in my car belting out the lyrics to nearly every song he has produced. It is quite possibly the Live DVD I’ve watched a number of times which showcases his humor. Whatever it is… I appreciate John Mayer as an artist and a human. I appreciate his raw honesty and ability to articulate his thoughts. I am, without a doubt, looking forward to the next CD, DVD and creative effort made by JM.
