It is days like yesterday that remind you just how precious life is and just how amazing the human race is when given the opportunity to shine. I have grown a fear of flying, based on turbulence and lack of control in any in-flight situations, but the events of yesterday remind me why I must keep the faith.
In seeing the images on television and hearing the passengers accounts of what took place, I was in complete awe. Kudos to US Airways for hiring a well-trained and more than capable pilot.
Thank goodness for controlled chaos and good people. Thank heavens that all individuals made it out alive and that the human response was so quick. Good job made by the Ferry Boats to rush to the scene and rescue the people.
