Twilight

I am a grown adult and I am not at all afraid to tell you of my latest and greatest obsession.

It’s a book series, “the” book series. I waited on reading it for quite some time. I delayed the inevitable as long as one could. I distanced myself from the popular crowd as much as possible in regard to reading these books and jumping on this bandwagon.

In the end… the force was just too strong. In the end my sister and a friend convinced me to get reading. And in the end… I am grateful. Thank you to the both of you.

I love the escape. I love the places my imagination travels and distance it goes. I have to say, I have a bit of a crush on Edward Cullen. A bit of a massive crush. Thank goodness my husband loves me all the same. He understands and he is okay with it.

I will only say this by way of book review: If you like to escape, if you like to feel the emotions of falling in love and if you like a bit of suspense… this is a book series for you. Already in the middle of New Moon and would never force this on anyone, but there is something to the hype.

Finally, in regard to Twilight… it is the push and pull of the “getting to know you process” of dating. It is the way all magical relationships start. The exccitement and the fear. The joy and the sorrow. The lust and the restraint…
